Hey there. I recently posted to this board a few days ago looking for help. I need help. haha. My name is Fernando and I just moved to Modesto from S. El Monte. I don't drive and only ride my bike. I am usually riding up and down carpenter/briggsmore and in downtown with a tow (I rummage thru trash). I always wear a helmet, which might be lame, but I don't care! (: This is me and usually the face I am making as I am pedaling:

This is the bicycle i am now riding. It's dependable, but heavy and old. I literally pieced it together with no previous experience out of stuff my friends and family gave me (mostly moutain bikes) and a frame I found in the trash. it has no gears, but does have a free-spin. I'd love to work on it. someone please teach me!

this is the bike which i recently thrashed and I have no idea how to fix. I was riding this every day until about a month ago when i had to start using the back-up plan. both of these are fuji bikes and both are trash finds.

^^ay man i got a back rim with gears nd shit from an old womans roadie like that one above. im willing to sell it for like 5 bucks cause it needs new tires and tube if your interested in that.

@ Joseph: Yes I am down! I'll get in touch with you sometime this week if that's ok. I'd like to strap something on there as soon as possible. I have old spare tubes and tires I can throw on it until I can get something better. Is it a 27 x 1 1/8? that's a matching size.
@ xanatizer: I wasn't at the 99 tonight! but i frequent the 99 and the dollar tree on mchenry. I've gotten compliments on my handlebars there.

alright man for sure, i have no idea what size it is but it came off a bike almost identical to that one. should be the right size.

whats up forum,my name is Justin,i just moved back to the Modesto area but have lived her a total of 15 years off and on. just got into riding fixies about a year ago i got my first one,and have been in love ever since. i ride a Motobecane blacked out,origin8 pedals,brooks double straps,an origin8 flat "stash bar" and i am always looking for upgrades. but more so i want to meet other riders and get involved in my community...always down to ride,im out almost everyday,so haller if you see me online or out in the streets....LETS RIDE!!!
